2. Services Offered

Blue Cedar Roofing and Construction Inc. provides professional roofing services including but not limited to:

All services are performed by licensed, insured professionals using industry-standard materials and techniques. Services are available during business hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

3. Free Quote and Estimates

By submitting the contact form on our website or calling us directly, you are requesting a free, no-obligation roofing estimate. Submission of the form does not constitute a binding contract. An official written estimate will be provided after a site inspection by our team.

Estimates are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated in writing. Prices are subject to change based on updated material costs or changes in project scope.

4. Service Agreements and Contracts

Any roofing project undertaken by Blue Cedar Roofing and Construction Inc. will be documented in a separate written service agreement or contract, which will outline:

•       Scope of work
•       Materials to be used
•       Project timeline
•       Total cost and payment schedule
•       Warranty terms

No work will commence until a written agreement has been signed by both parties. Verbal agreements are not binding.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Payment Schedule

Payment terms will be specified in the written service agreement. A deposit may be required prior to commencement of work. Final payment is due upon satisfactory project completion.

5.2 Late Payments

Invoices not paid within thirty (30) days of the due date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance, or the maximum rate permitted by Florida law.

5.3 Insurance Claims

If your project involves an insurance claim, we will work cooperatively with your insurer. However, you remain responsible for your deductible and any amounts not covered by insurance. We do not waive deductibles.

6. Warranty

6.1 Workmanship Warranty

Blue Cedar Roofing and Construction Inc. warrants its workmanship against defects for a period specified in your individual service agreement. This warranty covers labor and installation errors but does not cover damage caused by severe weather events, improper maintenance, or third-party modifications.

6.2 Manufacturer’s Warranty

Roofing materials may carry a separate manufacturer’s warranty. We will provide documentation of applicable manufacturer warranties upon project completion.

6.3 Warranty Exclusions

Warranties are void if alterations, repairs, or modifications are made by parties other than Blue Cedar Roofing and Construction Inc. without our prior written consent.

7. Homeowner / Customer Responsibilities

To facilitate efficient and safe project completion, customers agree to:

•       Provide safe and unobstructed access to the work area
•       Remove fragile or valuable items from the attic or areas beneath the roof prior to work
•       Disclose any known structural issues or prior repairs
•       Ensure pets and children are kept away from the work area during active construction
•       Promptly review and sign required documentation

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Florida law, Blue Cedar Roofing and Construction Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to our services or website, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from a project shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Insurance

Blue Cedar Roofing and Construction Inc. maintains general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage as required by Florida state law. Proof of insurance is available upon request. Our licensing number is CCC1336123, verifiable with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR).

10. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Customers may cancel or reschedule a scheduled service by providing at least forty-eight (48) hours advance notice by telephone or email. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or work has commenced may be subject to restocking fees or partial charges as outlined in the service agreement.

11. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute arising from our services or these Terms, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to mediation before filing any legal action.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the appropriate courts of Lake County, Florida.
